I began working with Traci Hrudka on this project in 2009. It started off with a website design and grew into logo designs and eventually interview filming and editing together promotional videos for the documentary, "Project 1320".
I've had a lot of fun building a variety of logos in the past and this one is still one of my favorites. Being my own worst critic, I think the kerning could use a little TLC...
I'm glad that this logo is still being used after over a decade. That tells me I did an okay job! And while I'm no longer filming any of the interviews for the documentary, I'm looking forward to one day seeing everything come together to tell the story of drag racing, by the legends of the sport.
