Designed back in 2007, this is still one of my favorite logos I've created. Earlier renditions of this logo contained an alien nested inside the sillhouette of a sea horse (a design I came up with in college) but that didn't last long and the wind-up baby icon was quickly adopted.
Synthetic Human Pictures was created with a group of friends in Phoenix, Arizona. We started out making short films for contests and got some praise and awards with a handful of our shorts. We branched out into documentaries and commercials before an indefinite hiatus in 2012, as members moved to different parts of the country to pursue other careers.
